No matter how down I am... he always makes me feel better. He's probably the most beautiful beagle in the world. If not, at least in the top ten. Because you know, there's ... a top ten beagle list in the world. He's not hard to get, unlike some people. Actually, I take that back. He cries when he's happy and doesn't know how to bark properly. Sometimes I feel like he's the saddest pup in the world... he has a permanent tear and doesn't know how to play with other dogs. The only things that make him happy is food, tennis balls, and sleep. I guess I can relate! I remember when I first found a newspaper ad five years ago that listed a batch of beagle puppies for one at $500. It was the first place I visited and I guess love at first sight really does exist. His brother, god, I can't even fully explain and give the right description that he deserves. He had a beautiful caramel and white coat and looked like milk chocolate. He was so soft and the happiest dog I have ever seen. The minute I walked in, he was running all over the place and jumping up and down. And then there was Jason. He was walking along the wall and sat in the corner. He was so shy and had the saddest eyes ever. He looked absolutely miserable in that room that I had to save him. This posting is dedicated to my first love, Jason! It's his birthday on Christmas Eve and he'll be turning five years old.
